Up and running in a moment.

  1. Open the downloaded disk image.
  2. Drag Mac Health into Applications.
  3. Open Mac Health from Applications. Closing the window keeps its menu-bar view running.

To check your Mac: choose Apple menu → About This Mac. The Chip field should show an Apple M-series chip. Intel Macs are not supported by this download.

Compatibility and available readings

GPU and whole-system power readings depend on the counters your Mac exposes. Battery readings appear on supported MacBooks. Unavailable readings are labeled in the app.

Per-app volume control, per-app power attribution, fan speeds, numerical temperatures, and accessory batteries are not included. Process memory uses resident size, so it can differ from Activity Monitor.

The release was tested on an M4 Max Mac Studio running macOS 26. It targets macOS 14 and later; other hardware and OS versions have not yet been device-tested.
